Payment Information
Payment information is processed securely through Stripe. Honest Lenses does not store full credit card numbers or sensitive payment credentials on our servers.
How We Use Your Information
- To process and fulfill contact lens orders
- To verify prescriptions as required by law
- To communicate order status and support requests
- To send a one-time cart-recovery link when a shopper explicitly requests one
- To comply with legal and regulatory requirements
Prescription Data
Prescription information is collected for order fulfillment and verification in accordance with the FTC Contact Lens Rule. We do not sell prescription data or use it for unrelated marketing or third-party advertising.
For orders placed on or after October 20, 2026, you may choose at checkout to request occasional contact lens reorder and prescription renewal reminders. If you choose this option, we may use that order's lens supply and documented prescription expiration to estimate when a reminder may be useful. Prescription renewal alerts require your confirmation that you are the patient and that the patient and shipping names on the order match. Reminder emails do not include prescription details. You can postpone or stop reminders at any time. This choice does not enroll customers from earlier orders or authorize unrelated marketing.
Cart-save links are transactional, expire after a limited period, and do not enroll shoppers in marketing communications.
Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), database row-level security controls, and restricted backend access to protect your information.
Third-Party Service Providers
We may share limited information with trusted third-party providers necessary to operate our business, including payment processors, shipping carriers, and email delivery services. These providers receive only the information required to perform their services.
